Do you want to know who to vote for?

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Are you confused?  Do you want to know who to vote for?  Do you want to know where to go to school?  Do you need to make a decision about who to marry?

Then let me help you find the answer.

First I must ask you some questions.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart!

Do you trust that God will direct you to the correct decision?
Or do you think this problem is too small for God?
Or do you think he does not hear?

Do you think he does not know of the affairs of man?
Is your affection, the desire of your heart set upon pleasing God?
Or is your desire your belly? Or some other selfish/sexual desire?

Have you compared the desire of your heart with God's desires from time of old?

Remimber God knows the end from the beginning.  He said

Rev 21:6-8 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Did you see this statement He who overcomes shall inherit all things.  You must overcome the fears and traps of this world by trusting in the one and only God and Father. You must set your affection upon loving God.

I need to ask you some more questions.

Do you know that what you know is a lot less than what God knows?
Do you know that what you think is not what God thinks?

Isaiah 55:8-9 8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

If Gods thinking is higher than your thinking, if Gods ways are not your ways then how shall we proceed?

In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Have you searched the Bible, Gods Holy word and investigated similar situations?

(When you investigate similar situations in the Bible you are acknowledging God and His word.)  Have you compared you situation to God and the Ten Commandments?  Will you violate His commandments if you proceed?

Deuteronomy 5:6-21
‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
‘You shall have no other gods before Me.

‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;  you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 10 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

11 ‘You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

12 ‘Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. 13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 14 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you. 15 And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

16 ‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

17 ‘You shall not murder.

18 ‘You shall not commit adultery.

19 ‘You shall not steal.

20 ‘You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

21 ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife; and you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male servant, his female servant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.’

Have you compared your situation to the two Commandments that Jesus said are most important?  Apply your personal desire for yourself against Gods desire for you.  Are you being disobedient to God and His word?

Matthew 22:34-40
34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

He has put a light on your path.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
God does not change.

Numbers 23:19 19 “God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

So let me ask you again. Are you confused?  Do you want to know who to vote for?  Do you want to know where to go to school?  Do you need to make a decision about who to marry?
Are you trusting in the Lord with all of your heart? Or, are you still trusting in the little that you know?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Now Go, and Serve your King!
